Grudge Match 1
Match One : Emperor Palpatine Vs Sauron
This would prove to be an interesting match as the two Dark Lords go head to head.
Both are very powerful, the Emperor : with his awesome force lightning, unreal lightsabre skills, his knowledge of galatic politics, and his oldness make him a very difficult opponent.
Sauron on the other hand is very imposing on the battlefield towering over men and can beat a whole army by himself, if he keeps his ring finger safe, he has the ONE RING!, the wraiths, his Eye which is good for spying on the enemy and perving on hot chicks.
In my opinion the Emperor would be beat Sauron easily in a war. the empires army would easily win. Stormtroopers and walkers on the ground would disopose of saurons army of moldy orcs. only the wraiths would be a challegne and the emperor would send Vader to go fight them.
Sadly i think that the Emperor would be beaten by Sauron. simply because Sauron would give him a ring, and the emperor would wear it because its wat evil people do, and then he would be corrupted by its power.

Actually, what happens if an evil lord puts on a Sauron ring? I mean, if its just some regular evil guy he will fall under Sauron's power, but we're talking Dark Lord of the Sith here, he isn't some weak minded fool. He will be too smart to put on the ring and if he does I think he could remain unthralled, what with his force-strengthened will and evilness.
The real question is if the force will work in Middle Earth, there may not be, assuming that there are no midichlorians there. But lets say it is, Palpatines lightsabre could cut Saurons armour and weapons to shreds, but Sauron has magic as well. And he could probably summon some sword that can't be killed by lightsabre in which case he might be able to win, because Sauron is like some sort of demon and the emporer is just a talented human. Also, Sauron can't be killed because of the ring.
and windex will beat brasso because its used more often and has the experience. brasso can only be used on metallic things to make them shiny and windex can clean lots of things. also, by keeping things transperent it can save lives. I've buried too many people brought down by dusty windows, dammit.

actually yeah i dont know why i doubted the emperor, he could probly beat sauron. he is pretty cool at lightsabre fighting.
and yeah the dark lord of the sith could probly use the ring without falling under saurons power.
also in the event that the emperor was beaten in combat by sauron he could escape and then use the Death Star on middle earth.

Sauron is shown for the first 5mins in the first lotr movie and yes he's big and all but I think Palapatine could beat him in single combat. He could just force a boulder into Sauron and then he'd be blown up. Except we don't actually know how he stays invulnerable. What would happen after I mean. Would there be a time window for Palpatine to retrieve the ring? or would he just magically and instantly reform.
Of course, if there is no force, the emperor would be totally screwd, his body is too screwd to do anything. And he can't call upon the death star or Vader, then it would be Vader or Sauron, and Vader would win coz his breathing sound is cooler.
I must say tho, Saurons eye is pretty cool, tho it doesnt actually do anything but make u uncomfortable and very self aware.
Think of it this way. The emperor was beating by Luke Skywalker, a Jedi Knight more powerful than Vader. Sauron was beaten by Frodo, a fucking halfling. and a gay one at that. end of discussion.
so in theory skywalker vs frodo we result in a more interesting battle
yes where frodo will go 'help!help!' and sam wil come along with a cooking pot and wack luke over the head with it =]
the thing we have to keep in mind then when fighting powerful dark lords is whether there is the right pit nearby.
the emperor was beaten because he was thrown into a pit, and sauron because his ring was thrown into a pit (with fire).
also a good lesson to keep in mind if you ever become a powerful dark lord, who can only be beaten if your magical item is destroyed is to put a security door on the entrance to your fire pit.
or if your just a powerful dark lord in general, when designing your throne room try and resist the urge to put a giant pit in there and you may actually win
you aint a dark lord unless you have an easily accessible pit to dispose of your infidels in
The smart dark lords have an elevator instead of a pit. Much more modern.
