need transport

as you may already know, iv started some my get rich scheme for quite some time now and its progressing quite well. iv decided that a car would be a useful item to purchase. now iv never bought a car before and am quite clueless about it so im asking for help from you guys and the rest of the interweb. for all you car owners, ex car owners or anyone with a clue.
im probably looking at an absolute bomb of a car right now but i still have limits. mainly that it must be able to drive for 2hrs with a break of 5-10mins in between without breaking down.
tell us your thoughts and if you can suggest a model, a year or km of a car that can do this that would be good. if you feel that my standards are too low and have a strong opinion on a better first car, voice yourself.

edit (funzo): get an old falcon or commodore. They r cheapo to fix since parts r everywhere tho fuel might kill u first. Or get an old corolla. Just get a common car. Yes, this is the only way i can comment
