Blues Update
Steve will fill in the details:
Place = Nighthawk Blues Corner of Nepean Hwy and Balcombe Rd. It's near the old schoolyard, and across the road from a service station, I think it's 7-11. It's also near that Mentone Hub Inn or whatever it's called, so if you can see that you're in the right area.
Time = Band starts at about 9pm. Get there before 9. Sometime around 8 will probably be the best. We should probably meet somewhere for pre-drinks and pre-stonage for anyone who is interested. Either in a park somewhere or at Shaun's house or whatever.
Other = The band is called the Slide Devils I don't know what they sound like but it says blues-rock. There is a cover charge of $10 which is gay, but probably means they will be good. I think drinks are a little bit dearer than your average pub so be prepared for that. We will hopefully be getting a little baked before hand anyway so as to appreciate the music better so there is that. Also, last time we went we were able to smoke out the back without any trouble from the establishment so if we're lucky maybe that can go on again, but that's not something to be counted on.
